Plan a project
Tell us what has to keep running while we work on it.
That sentence is usually the whole brief. Everything else — the plant, the programme, the price — follows from what you cannot switch off and when you are prepared to let us try.
First reply
One working day
From an engineer, not from an inbox.
Survey
Within a fortnight
On site, with a torch if there are no drawings.
Price
Fixed against a written scope
Assumptions listed separately so you can see them.
Send it over
Drawings, an asset list, or two paragraphs and a photograph.
All three happen. Nobody has ever been turned away for enquiring badly, and the two-paragraph version is often quicker to answer than the tender pack.

Four steps, and you can stop after any of them.
A call, and somebody who has done the work
You get an engineer on the telephone, not a salesperson. Ten minutes usually establishes whether this is a survey, a quotation or a job we should decline.
A survey and a written scope
On site, with drawings if they exist and a torch if they do not. The scope comes back with the assumptions listed separately, so you can see what we have guessed.
A price that holds
Fixed price against that scope, with provisional sums stated as provisional sums. We do not win work on a number we intend to revise.
Programme, permits, and a date
Isolation and access planned before the labour is booked. You get one point of contact for the duration and a handover pack on the day we finish.
Existing client, and it has just stopped?
Do not wait for an e-mail to be read. The controllers hold your access arrangements, your key safe codes and the last four visit reports.
